Beyond Flexible: A Clinical Series on Hypermobility
Part 2-
Hypermobility & Multisystem Involvement: Medical Complications Across Body Systems
Virtual Course
Cost: $40
Hypermobility affects far more than the musculoskeletal system and frequently involves complex interactions across multiple body systems. This course examines the multisystem nature of hypermobility and its associated medical complications, with a focus on how these factors influence functional presentation and rehabilitation planning.
Participants will explore how hypermobility impacts cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal, immunological, and neurological systems, and how dysfunction within these systems can alter exercise tolerance, symptom presentation, and clinical decision making. Emphasis is placed on recognizing systemic red flags, understanding safety considerations, and integrating medical complexity into individualized treatment planning. This course equips clinicians with the knowledge necessary to provide informed, comprehensive care for individuals with hypermobility.
